An occupational therapist with more than four decades of experience in rehabilitation, upper extremity orthopedic rehabilitation, ergonomic and functional capacity evaluations, Caron Faherty is the owner of Southern Occupational Therapy Products, Inc. In this role, Caron Faherty conducts functional capacity evaluations for injured workers and individuals in Martin and St. Lucie Counties. Her work primarily focuses on functional restoration and assessment services.
Ms. Faherty began her studies at Palm Beach State College, later earning a bachelor's degree from Florida International University and a master's in clinical psychology from Barry University. Her career has included school-based therapy, elder care, and the development of occupational therapy departments in both acute care and rehabilitation facilities. Ms. Faherty also ran a clinic in Jensen Beach, where she worked with upper extremity orthopedic injuries and obtained certification in functional assessment and hand therapy.
Ms. Faherty holds a U.S. patent for Rist-Rests, a line of computer aids she markets online.
